About Us
Sadiyyah Model Schools Limited was incorporated in 2002 to provide children education at Nursery, Primary and Secondary school levels. The schools are located on a single site at Alagbole, Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, just at the boundary of Ojodu Local Government area of Lagos State. As at today, the Ogun state Ministry of Education has granted approval to the Schools to present candidates for the Primary School Leaving Examination as well as the Junior and Senior School Certificate Examinations. The College has been registered as a centre for West African Examinations Council as well as National Examinations Council's examinations.
Governance
The Schools are governed by two separate Boards, networked in a way designed to provide optimum strategic direction and supervision for both the academic and management responsibilities. The Board of Directors comprising Mr. M.F.Lawal, his wife, Adefunke Lawal, and three of their children is strengthened by the Board of Governors, comprising eminent professionals in business and in the fields of education. Mr. M.F. Lawal is a professional accountant while his wife holds diplomas in education and business management from University of Ife and American Business Institute, New York, respectively. One of the three children on the Board is a Certified Public Accountant, the second holds a degree in Banking & Finance while The third holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
The Board of Governors comprises, Professor M.A. Bidmus, a Professor of Education and Dean of Faculty of Education, University of Lagos; Alhaji Olanrewaju Balogun, a Food Technologist and Fish Farmer; Dr. F.O. Olajobi, a Medical Practioner; Mr. Deji Mustapha, Group Executive Director, Leaders & Company, Publishers of Thisday Newspapers; and Alhaja B.G. Gobir, a retired Vice Principal and School Administrator.
Our Team
More than 70% of our academic staff are professional teachers while others are at various stages of completing their professional teacher training courses. The school mandates every staff to register for professional training as a pre-condition for confirmation of employment. Our staff undergo regular re-training and participation in seminars and workshops aimed at updating and upgrading their competence and skills levels.
